iPhone mania

iPhone.jpg

A couple of interesting items came out of yesterday’s iPhone mania, which has everyone and their dog offering their two cents review-wise on the Web.

One, the Globe and Mail’s Matthew Ingram wrote about a guy named Greg Packer who was front of the line at the Apple store in NYC. Turns out that this isn’t the first time Mr. Packer’s been front of the line, hoping to hog a bit of the media spotlight.

Secondly, Valleywag reported – albeit erroneously – that some dude attacked a newsreporter on air in hopes of swiping the iPhone that was in hands. Turns out the guy was going for the microphone.

The things people will do for fame around a silly cellphone, I tells ya.
