Synching Up

City%20of%20Lost%20Children.jpg

File this one under: Someone might just have a little, wee, teeny bit too much time on their hands.

As you may or may not know, there is a popular urban legend that Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon mysteriously links up well with the film The Wizard of Oz when you play the former as a soundtrack to the latter. (Dark Side of the Rainbow, anyone?)

The person who discovered this mysterious 'linkage'? Um, a blogger who also claims that Thom Yorke's The Eraser and Dr. Strangelove make great bedfellows.

Says this blogger: "All the syncs I feature I strongly believe were done on purpose."

I would tend to agree. And, while I still have your attention, there's this bridge in Brooklyn I think is up for sale that I'd like to show you ... .
