Hammer: They Put Him in the Mix

What what what what what? Can’t touch this.
Anyways, I must’ve been on vacation or something when I missed this one, but apparently while all my other favorite ex-rap superstars were busy getting on Surreal Life, becoming Reverends or getting shot, MC Hammer decided to create a start-up company. That’s right, MC Hammer has a tech posse and DanceJam be thy name.

TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington even invited Hammer to participate as a panel advisor at the recent TechCrunch 40 event. The Silicon Valley mogul has gone so far as to invest in the burgeoning dance social networking/video hosting site. Uh huh, I ain’t lyin’.

Scroll down and read the investors in the CrunchBase post.

Oh yes. It’s poppin. And Lil Mama, of “Lip Gloss” fame is the spokeswoman. I am actually eager to see how this turns out. I called Canadian rapper Maestro Fresh Wes to comment on how Hammer’s success has eclipsed Maestro’s acting career and he replied, “This is a throw-down, a show-down hell no, I can't slow down it’s gonna go down.” Indeed it is Maestro. Indeed it is.
