Faceball: Your Face, Their Balls

John Allspaw and Dunstan Orchard of Ludicorp Research and Development Ltd., the Vancouver-based company that brought you photosharing site Flickr, created a game that they say is,

a vehicle for the release of personal animosity, and the Shaming of the Weak.

Started within Flickr headquarters, Faceball involves whipping a beach ball at your opponent's face at close range. While the game's introductory video is extremely entertaining, the popularity of theFlickr Faceball group is a testament to the fact that at the core of our existence, even incredibly intelligent individuals are at best, lovable chimps.
