CinemaNow and Universal Team Up

cinemanow-universal-dvd.jpgWith services like Unbox and iTunes getting most of the press these days, CinemaNow has decided to show their cards, and its a royal flush.

CinemaNow is the only service that allows DVD burning of selected downloaded films, and now they are about to have the first same-day title which will be downloadable and burnable the very same day that the retail DVD hits store shelves.

Universal Pictures is going to put "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" online for a standard $9.99 CinemaNow fee.

Seems like this was bound to happen, and honestly, I think it is about time. It will be interesting to see if other services take note, and how many CinemaNow sells.
